\u00abFrom the moment Camila came into this world on a quiet Uruguayan dawn, I knew that my life would change forever. I remember every detail, every smile, every challenge we faced together from those first days. Camila was a perfect baby, but we soon realized that our journey would be different than most families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When he was just two months old, small pimples around his lips marked the beginning of a series of medical challenges. Despite the moments of fear and confusion, each step forward in his health filled us with hope. However, it was his diagnosis of severe epilepsy, with more than 125 seizures a day, that really tested our strength. The long stays in the hospital and the struggle to control his seizures brought us closer together as a family, teaching us the true meaning of perseverance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The diagnosis of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) at the age of two and a half was a hard blow. What was that? We had so many questions and so few answers. We began to navigate a sea of therapies, from the conventional to the most innovative, always hoping to find what would help Camila connect with the world around her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Genetic studies, a viable hope for Camila's future<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Over the years, we explored everything within reach, from controversial protocols to Dr. Nemechek's approach, seeking not only to improve your organic health but also your quality of life. And although every little progress was a victory, the search for significant progress in his autism often seemed like a never-ending road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was then that we decided to enter the world of genetic studies and specialized diets, finding in Dr. Lao's study and in Dr. Mellillo's practices new hopes and possibilities. Each new approach, each new therapy, was one more step towards a better future for Camila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But perhaps, the moment that most defines our struggle was when Camila, at age eleven, saved my life. That act of bravery not only showed his incredible strength but also the deep bond that unites us. She taught me that, beyond any diagnosis, Camila is a person capable of great acts of love and courage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, seeing Camila at 25 years old, I feel a mixture of pride and hope. Our adventure together has been a path full of challenges, but also countless joys and lessons learned. Our story is a testament to the power of unconditional love, the importance of never giving up and the belief that, against all odds, there is always hope. Camila and I have come a long way, and although the future is uncertain, I know that together we can face anything.
